Pupil PERSONNEL Team (PPT)
Our multi-disciplinary team is comprised of related service providers (occupational therapists, speech therapists, guidance counselors and the SETSS teacher). This team meets on a weekly basis with classroom teachers to develop support plans for students. Parents or teachers who have questions about supporting children's academic, language, social/behavioral, or fine or gross motor needs are encouraged to request a PPT meeting for their students. At this meeting a support plan is developed. This plan may entail at-risk or short-term work with a provider and the use of tools and other supports in the classroom to address the area(s) of identified need. The team will reconvene in 6-8 weeks to determine effectiveness of the interventions and determine the next steps. After a PPT meeting is held, parents can expect a follow-up contact from a member of our team to share the support plan.
